Glide
Cary, NC

Technical Team Lead, AI — Jan 2025 – Present (1 yr 6 mo)

Led the technical direction, architecture, and execution strategy for one of the most complex product and engineering transitions in Glide's history. Helped rethink the core product model from traditional no-code app building to an AI-assisted, vibe-coded development experience, organizing the work across engineering, product, design, and company leadership.

Drove foundational technical decisions behind two rapid architecture evolutions, ultimately arriving at Glide's Cloudflare-based agentic platform, released in June 2026. This included defining the system architecture for agentic app generation, shaping the agentic runtime model, and establishing the infrastructure patterns needed to support AI-driven application development.

Served as both technical leader and hands-on IC contributor, leading from the front while building the early code that shaped the platform's initial architecture, agentic loop, deployment harness, and core engineering primitives. Worked across the stack to turn ambiguous product direction into working systems, then used those early implementations to de-risk the architecture, align the team, and accelerate execution. Combined architecture, engineering leadership, and hands-on implementation to move the organization through a high-ambiguity transformation with clear deliverables, incremental milestones, and pragmatic technical decisions.

Technical Team Lead, Core & Platform Teams — Jun 2023 – Jan 2025 (1 yr 8 mo)

Led Glide's Platform and Core Engineering teams, responsible for the foundational infrastructure, engineering primitives, and core product systems. Specialized in organizing complex, high-risk engineering initiatives across teams and stakeholders by turning ambiguous platform goals into clear deliverables, incremental milestones, and de-risked execution plans.

Set technical direction, aligned priorities across product and engineering, and created the structure needed for teams to deliver meaningful platform improvements without disrupting the core product experience. The teams drove major modernization efforts including internal developer platform investments, microservices decomposition, large-scale database migration work, production infrastructure improvements, and reliability, performance, and cost-efficiency initiatives that improved engineering velocity, scalability, and the long-term maintainability of the platform.
